9 Gifts Of the Holy Spirit

As it is quite obvious, the Apostolic Faith and church according to the Holy Bible, is really the Pentecostal church’s counterpart in its government and doctrines, although, as used in various denominations Apostolic Pentecostals or Pentecostal Apostolic are united to the first century church in its original doctrines, actions and events; such as Acts the 2nd chapter which is the account of the Baptism or infilling of the Holy Spirit with the evidence of speaking in other tongues, and the 9 gifts of the Holy Spirit given in (1st Cor. 12th chapter). However, on the contrary many who are considered to be dispensationalists believes that these divine demonstrations and gifts in the book of Acts were only the contemporaries of the first century church in its infancy and is not relevant to these times.

Although, others believe these 9 gifts (The word of knowledge, The word of wisdom, The gift of prophecy, The gift of faith, The gifts of healing, The working of miracles, The discerning of spirits, Different kinds of tongues, The interpretations of tongues) along with the Baptism or infilling of the Holy Spirit has ceased since the completion of the Canon of scriptures, or were only for the Apostles, nevertheless, many who believe are experiencing the same events in their lives as did the first century church. Finally, as we draw to a close, at the heart of the true Apostolic Faith and Church, is The Message of The Cross of Christ; if there's a desire to grow in grace and the knowledge of Christ's Cross, God will take any confessing Christian as far as they are willing to believe in His timeless Truths. Paul says, as he lays down the mandate and message of the New Testament Church in 1Corinthians 1:17; For Christ sent me not to Baptize, but to Preach the Gospel: not with wisdom of words, lest the Cross of Christ should be made of none effect. The Apostle sums it up in verse 23. by saying, but we Preach Christ crucify, unto the Jews a stumbling block, and unto the Greeks/Gentiles foolishness. So in short, Paul is saying every thing we need, is in the Cross, not only our Salvation but also our Sanctification, Justification and Redemption.

The Apostles Were the Twelve Men as Disciples or Students of the Lord

Despite popular opinions and perceptions considered to be facts of what the Apostolic Pentecostal Faith and Church is, its interpretations of doctrines and customs believed, therefore adopted and practiced; those opinions, perceptions and interpretations are not True Biblical perceptions and interpretations of the Apostolic Faith and Church in general practices, teachings, interpretations nor customs; such as the wearing of prayer caps, the wearing of floored dresses, no wearing of pants and make up by women nor jewelry by men and women, no women ministers, baptizing only in Jesus name, the interpretation of Christ being the whole of the God Head and trinity as though God the Father doesn't exist when He said this is my beloved Son in whom I'm well pleased, and you have to speak in tongues to receive Basic Salvation or to be Born Again, which is in complete violation of Salvation by grace and justification by faith, faith in Christ and what He has done on the Cross (John 3:16) as the only begotten Son of God through Eternal Generations (Ephesians 2:8).

All of these interpretations and perceptions of the Pentecostal Apostolic Faith is not the Biblical teachings of the Holy Bible, they are the personal beliefs and standards of men attempting to Sanctify themselves, others and exert domination by those religious means, however, not discerning the scriptures by the Holy Spirit but by Religious Zeal, with the lack of understanding that Christ has Sanctified Believers by His Cross, His Righteousness and God’s grace, because if you don’t understand the Cross of our Lord Christ, you will not understand the benefits of the Cross and the opporation of the Holy Spirit in relations to the Cross and every day living (Hebrew 10:14;) nor Basic Truths of God’s divine scriptures.

The word Apostolic is derived from the word Apostle, which means sent one or one who's sent to declare Christ and Him crucify/The Message of The Cross. As known, the Apostles were the twelve men called by Jesus Christ as disciples or students of the Lord. (Peter, Philip, James the son of  Zebedee, John, Andrew, Bartholomew, Thomas, Mathew, Thaddeus, Simon, and James the son of Alphaeus).
